8 Stylish Christmas Gift Wrapping Ideas

I know it's a bit late in the game, but I was recently stumped on what gift wrapping I should choose this year. There is always the typical target bought wrapping paper, but if you want to stand out a bit, and show off some of that stylish sensibility of yours these 8 ideas will blow your mind! Just about every one of these includes either black paper, kraft paper, and twine.Once you have these, the possibilities are endless! One of my all time favorites is shown above, black paper and white or "chalkboard" markers.
Washi tape is glorious thanks to all of it's possible uses, there is so much you can do with it, in this case gift wrapping.
Beautiful Artsy Simplicity + completely DIY!
A great way of adding a personal touch to a gift is adding an image to the top. For design sake I do like the black and white photo idea, but it could also be a map of one of their favorite countries, or a still from one of their favorite movies.
These wrapping papers were created by using a gingerbread man stamp, tree stamp and gift stamp. HOW CLEVER!
I am always drawn to golds during the holiday and this small polka dot gold wrapping paper is to die for, the thin elegant stripes are pretty amazing as well.
Possibly one of the most "organic" ones of the bunch, this can easily be recreated using kraft paper and twine.
Surprise Surprise, more Kraft paper, a spool of bakers twine, and a small clothes pin!

Blast From the Past: Seattle Thanksgiving 2012

With Thanksgiving approaching I couldn't help but be reminded of last years amazing trip to Seattle, Washington. My older brother had recently moved up there for a job, and despite all the negative things I had heard about Seattle (aka IT RAINS ALL THE TIME) it was like nothing I expected. I fell in love with Seattle, its culture, its people, it's coffee shops, I couldn't get enough, and surprisingly it rained 1 out of the 5 days we were there. I realized I never got to share my experiences on here and I just wanted to share all the beautiful things I saw and experiences I had in this great city. I am going back to Seattle for thanksgiving so don't forget to follow me on INSTAGRAM for a daily dose.
Are you from Seattle or go there often? If you have any cool spots in mind that I haven't visited I would love to hear from you, since I will be back next week!

Blogger Spotlight: Happily Grey

In my eternal search for fall fashion inspiration I found this hidden gem of a fashion blog. Mary started her  blog "Happily Grey" as a creative outlet about two years ago while working as a nurse. Comes to show your day job doesn't really have anything to do with your blogging right? I suspect she is doing this full time now, and thank God for that, since she is quickly becoming one of my favorite bloggers. In her own words her style is " unplanned, and is generally a reflection of my mood", and I love that about her, as this is my style mantra as well!
Im dying to know what fashion blogs you just can't seem to live without, let me know in a comment below! :)
